3 F's

Fall   Fair   Fun

Every year the fair comes to North Ga. We are there.
Thanks to Aunt Bing Bing & Uncle Nolen

The kids had a blast.

Carson is getting too tall to ride the kiddie rides. And Carly is still too short to ride the big kid rides.
She wants to ride the scary, fast big kid rides too.

See like here, she wants to ride the bull. Luckily Steph rode with her.
And the bull was gentle.

Shocker.
Cain is usually the one that doesn't want to do anything.

Camlin on the other hand
thinks its fun to play in the gravel.

 and refuses to get up
don't ya just love it when they do that?

My boy in the middle of 2 girls....I'm not ready for this.

TS3

We took the kids to see TS3 last weekend   a couple of weekends ago. Maybe even a month ago

....better late than never. :) I got tickets through Kelloggs. When Kelloggs cereals would go on sale at Publix. I would buy them and of course use a coupon. Well actually lots of coupons. And enter codes and redeem for movie tickets. So instead of spending $12 a ticket for 5 of us. I spent about $6 a ticket, and have about 30 boxes of cereal to eat.
Who can afford to go to the movies these days? Certainly not us. It would have cost us $60, just to see the movie. We could wait and buy the DVD  when it comes out. One for each kid.

I took in snacks, and drinks for the kids. My mom & brother went with us.

The kids LOVED it.
The had a blast!!

Now we are even more excited to go to Disney to see Woody, Buzz & Jessie.

Weather Fest

We took the kids to Weatherfest on Sunday. The kids had a good time.  Scott & Carly got their pic made w/ Ken Cook.
I learned a couple of things- one my husband is infatuated w/ Karen Minton from channel 2 news. The pic is horrible of her, he took it. Now you see why I never have pics of myself. He takes pics and pays no attention to what you are doing. I always get pics of my eyes half opened or drunk looking pics.
Anyways, I did have to set an old lady straight.
She kept talking about Carson and referring to him as she. And I kept correcting her saying, "HE!", and she kept saying "She went over there" And I finally said "He, hes a boy!" She said "Oh the hair threw me off"
I wanted to say "hes dressed like a boy" What are all boys suppose to have super short hair?

Oh, and you have a mustache, aren't only men suppose to have those.
Gotta love old people.

Nightmare...no I mean Stone Mountain.

So we decided to take the kids to Stone Mountain Christmas a few weekends ago thanks to Coke Rewards. I love collecting points and getting free stuff.
It was cold which we all could have dealt with but it was raining too, and that makes wet freezing unhappy whiney kiddos.
We did get to do a couple of things before we had enough. The Polar Express in 3D the kids absolutely loved, and they enjoyed writing letters to Santa. And we sat and waited for the parade to see Santa at the end. Then it all came to an end. Carly was so cold she started crying hysterically, maybe because she wore crocs. But thats what she insisted on wearing. I know I am her mother, but her feet would have been cold anyways. I like the saying, you choose your battles. So thats what I did.
I'm sure you have read Scott's blog about our Jon & Kate moment. Yeah we have quite a few of those. He always gets to things before I get to post them, because I don't have the time he does.
Here's a few pics of our nightmare in Stone Mountain.

Cold pizza taste good when you are hungry

My sweet (not this trip) sexy hubby!

His jeans were so wet. Well really all of our jeans were.

Candy Cane Hunt

With a little help from Daddy, he can see.

The kids decorated cookies, and made bags of Reindeer Food to sprinkle on our lawn on Christmas Eve so Santa's reindeer can find our house.

We took the kids to the Candy Cane Hunt, it was cold very very cold. Even the icing to decorate the cookies was frozen, but the kids didn't care. They had fun decorating, creating, hunting, playing, and eating and thats all that matters.
We headed indoors to hear TES sing some Christmas songs, and I have my very first cup of coffee. I was cold and needed something to warm me up. Santa was there, and only Carly was brave enough to visit with him.
